•    Ruger New Model Vaquero

This Ruger Vaquero features 75%+ American Scroll coverage. The recoil shield also features scroll engraving. On guns like this, the top of the barrel, top-strap, back-strap, bottom grip frame, and trigger-guard are all partially engraved.

The 3/4 coverage makes for a very handsome revolver and was typical of Colt’s engraved in the period of the American West.

  •    DZ Arms Hepburn Action

This DZ Arms Hepburn action is engraved in a style that could have been found on an original Remington Hepburn. The action is engraved in American Scroll with about 50% coverage. This makes for a sharp looking rifle without breaking the bank and makes the rifle unique to you! Even the 50% coverage really makes it stand out against other rifles at a shoot!

  •    Henry Rifle by Henry

An engraved Henry rifle in the style of L. D. Nimschky. This is a good example of engraving in which the cuts have been left in the white, meaning that they haven’t been inked. While this doesn’t make the engraving ‘pop’ as much as it could, it certainly makes for a very flashy firearm when the cuts catch the light!

  •    Colt SAA 4th Gen

This is the current edition of the Colt Single Action Army engraved in a Helfricht-style American Scroll. The engraving on this gun is just over 50% coverage. This makes for a very handsome gun without a huge cash outlay. In fact, most of the guns that were engraved during the period of the American West, were between 50 – 75% coverage. You’ll find very few 25% or full coverage engraving on guns during this period.
